The Value of Original Art

The Value of Original Art

“You become what you behold” as the old proverb goes.

Our environments and the objects we surround ourselves with have subtle yet profound effects on us. Colors can enhance our moods, such as tranquil blue and lively neon orange. Places and objects can hold significant sentimental memories and emotions. The spaces we create may become extensions of ourselves and our states of mind.

Why not surround ourselves with one of a kind works of art that produce in us the state of joy and bliss in which they were originally created?

What makes an art piece special isn’t necessarily what has been included as what has been left to the imagination of the viewer. When it comes to art, the beauty is in the beholder.

We all love beautiful things, the ability to create them with our hands, heads, and hearts is a gift. Sharing the product of our efforts connects us and broadens our ability to perceive beauty.

Negative judgment often sucks the fun out of the creative process, or discourages trying again.
